Read Luke 14:7-24

  • Tom spoke of having a "long view" of being generous. Is a generous lifestyle one that comes naturally to you? Why or why not?

  • Do you encounter God as being generous towards you?

  • What is your gut reaction to the idea of showing generosity to someone that can't pay you back?

  • As you think about your relationships (life group, friends and family, workplace, neighborhood) are there opportunities to be generous towards another person?
