God’s people self-destruct when they disobey God and behave like their neighbors, they get stuck in oppressive sin, call out to God and in His mercy, He rescues them. Doesn’t this sound familiar? We may not live in an obviously pluralistic culture (where many different gods are worshipped) yet we are still in danger of allowing our environment to shape our devotion." We are still in danger of doing what is right in our own sight.
