Jan 3 - Commission Over Resolution.001.jpeg

The temptation, is to put our hope in a new year because it represents a change. That the calendar change will magically make this year better than the last. And my desire is that we don’t see another 2020, but that is not where I put my hope.

Some people are resolution kind of people. We make big sweeping promises and commitments but they don’t last.  It’s not that they are bad goals, but what tends to happen is that we lack the endurance to see those things through. Our character does not carry the commitments we make. . .

So what can we do to make 2021 a different year. A more successful year? What can we do to develop the endurance needed to break through the habits and hangups and not have a repeat of the year before?

I believe the change is a shift in our focus from resolution to commission.
