Colossians is about Jesus who is high and lifted up - the supremacy of Jesus. We need to be reminded to look up and realize He holds all things together, and not set our minds on things of the earth. We see that we are called to be a counter cultural people held together beyond the contempt, confusion, anger, and pain of our day. The action is around Jesus. We don’t hold things together. Jesus holds us together, the church together, all things ... together.
